Pang-Hung Hsu is an accomplished researcher and educator with a distinguished career in the field of Biological Mass Spectrometry, Proteomics, and Metabolomics. Holding a Ph.D. in Chemistry from The Ohio State University, along with master's and bachelor's degrees from National Taiwan University. Currently serving as an Associate Professor and Department Chair at National Taiwan Ocean University. Hsu exhibits a profound commitment to academia, evident through various leadership roles such as serving as a Member of Council for prestigious organizations like the Taiwan Society of Mass Spectrometry and the Taiwan Proteomic Society. With a rich research portfolio, Hsu has contributed to the scientific community through numerous publications in esteemed journals, covering a wide array of topics ranging from cancer biology and microbial ecology. His expertise extends to exploring biological mechanisms, as demonstrated by his work on molecular interactions and cellular pathways. Recognized for his contributions, Hsu has been honored with awards like the Excellence in Teaching Award and the Excellence Mentor Award from National Taiwan Ocean University, highlighting his efforts in both research and education.
